Overview

The Vallarta is an ultra-low power LPWAN transmission module. It uses the STM32WL SoC — the world's first SoC to integrate a LoRa-compatible radio (Semtech SX126x) alongside an ARM Cortex-M4 MCU.

This enables long-range sub-GHz LPWAN connectivity with minimal external components, ideal for battery-powered IoT sensors deployed across kilometers.

Wireless Protocols

  • Sub-GHz LPWAN — LoRa-compatible long-range communication
  • Long-range communication — km-scale coverage
  • Low data rate — Optimized for sensor telemetry
  • Excellent building penetration — Sub-GHz propagation advantages

Key Features

  • STM32WL SoC with integrated sub-GHz radio
  • Semtech SX126x RF transceiver
  • Ultra-low power for multi-year battery life
  • Compact SOM form factor
  • Long-range LPWAN connectivity
