Overview

The WildBay is a compact System-on-Module designed for ultra-low power 2.4 GHz wireless applications. Built around the STMicroelectronics STM32WB35 System-on-Chip, it integrates an ARM Cortex-M4 application processor and an ARM Cortex-M0+ network processor with a 2.4 GHz radio on a single die.

This architecture enables seamless multi-protocol wireless communication while maintaining the ultra-low power consumption that IoT edge devices demand.

Wireless Protocols

  • Bluetooth 5.2 — Low Energy, long range, high throughput, advertising extensions
  • IEEE 802.15.4-2011 — PHY and MAC layer support
  • Thread — Mesh networking for IoT with IPv6
  • Zigbee 3.0 — Industry-standard home and building automation

Key Features

  • Dual-core STM32WB35 SoC (Cortex-M4 + Cortex-M0+)
  • Ultra-low power consumption for battery-powered deployments
  • Integrated 2.4 GHz radio transceiver
  • Multi-protocol support on single hardware
  • Compact SOM form factor for easy integration
  • Full STM32Cube development ecosystem support
